Key Services Provided
With over 60 years of service, BGCCI offers diverse programs to support youth development. Our programs include academic enrichment, STEM exploration and arts education, coupled with nutritious meals and emotional support. We focus on building strong character, guiding positive life choices and inspiring a dedication to service.
Key Audiences Served
BGCCI currently serves over 1,600 Pre-K-12 grade members across eight Des Moines Club locations. With 45% from single-parent households, our programs are designed to nurture all Club members’ academic growth and personal development, providing a strong foundation for success in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
As the school year progresses, our role in supporting Club members’ social and emotional development is crucial. We’re dedicated to nurturing the leaders and innovators of tomorrow. There are various ways to join us in strengthening our mission, including volunteering your time to work directly with youth, seeking employment opportunities, offering sponsorships to support programs or events, or making donations to fund our initiatives. By engaging with Club, youth have access to mentorship, educational support and opportunities for personal development. Your involvement helps shape a thriving future for Des Moines and ensures every young person can reach their full potential.
