Mission
We empower individuals, support families and strengthen communities.
Key Services Provided
EveryStep pulls the threads between the health and social service systems tight, ensuring no one falls through the gaps or struggles on their own. Our diverse and inclusive programs offer vital care, education and empowerment, helping clients overcome health disparities and economic barriers, as well as find support during illness or grief.
Key Audiences Served
EveryStep provides free health care, education and baby supplies to new and expecting parents; developmental checks for infants and children; interpretation and support for immigrants and refugee families; and grief and loss services. We also offer in-home care to individuals with chronic conditions, life-limiting illness or adults who are homebound.

What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
We need investment in EveryStep’s Threads of Hope campaign. (everystep.org/threads-of-hope), which funds vital programs like free health checks, doula services and baby supplies for expecting moms; parenting education and development screenings for growing families; and connection to resources for immigrants and refugees. Traditional funding sources for these community health services have decreased, while the demand has increased. That’s why we’re asking Central Iowa businesses and local leaders to help us bridge the gap — by recognizing the impact of EveryStep’s outcomes in our community and investing in our collaborative care and support network.
