What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Hoyt Sherman Place Foundation. In 1995, Des Moines city leaders and the Des Moines Women’s Club came together to create the Hoyt Sherman Place Foundation to oversee the care and maintenance of the historic mansion, art gallery and theater. In the past 30 years, HSPF has seen incredible growth while remaining rooted in the mission of preserving Hoyt Sherman Place, the DMWC’s art collection and the first city park. Today, access to the museum, programming for students and performances on the outdoor stage are all free, thanks to donor support.
